Punta Regina is forever

Positano is a magical place, Hotel Punta Regina is the ideal place to celebrate a symbolic rite, to renew a promise and make it unforgettable. Nothing is left to chance, every detail is taken care of with great skill in the refined Punta Regina style. We cater only for small celebrations.

Guardandoci intorno, cose da non perdere

Once in Positano you can easily visit many of the most spectacular destinations , in the Amalfi Coast or in the Sorrento Peninsula. Here are our ” very personal ” suggestions:

Can be easily reached by hydrofoil , but the best way to visit the island is to see it from the sea in all its beauty . Therefore better a private boat or a hike with small groups

Amalfi and Ravello

Just in one day for those who do not have time. Amalfi can be easily reached, once in the centre we suggest that you visit the square , the Cathedral, paper mill and maybe stop for lunch. Then move up to Ravello where you should not miss the gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone

Pompeii and Herculaneum

This trip is a must. Depending on the time you have you can either consider to dedicate one day to visit these beautiful two sites or also stop on your way arriving or leaving Positano in case you move from/to Naples.

For sea lovers

Rent a boat and visit all the Coast from Positano to Amalfi or even Vietri sul Mare . Visit the Emerald Grotto (Conca dei Marini ) The Blue Grotto and the Green Grotto (Capri)

In addition to the Spiaggia Grande, the main beach, a little too crowded in the peak season , Positano offers other beautiful beaches accessible only by boat or walking: Fornillo , Arienzo and Laurito.

For mountain lovers

Visiting the highest part of Positano where there are the small villages of Montepertuso and Nocelle can be interesting, not to be missed the two hiking paths. The path of the Gods runs from Positano ( location Nocelle ) to Bomerano ( Agerola ) and is an exciting path for the view and the wealth of nature. You can visit alone or with the help of a guide if you are inexperienced. The valley of the Ferriere is located between Amalfi and Ravello, very interesting especially for vegetation and small waterfalls.

For lovers of good food

In Positano We can say that you eat well everywhere but when we talk about excellence there are places where the kitchen becomes an experience for the senses and to lose such a wonderful opportunity it would be a shame. For those who may be interested we wish to point out that it is becoming more widespread, the opportunity to attend to cooking classes for those who love to cook Italian: have fun!

“Lovely hotel, great staff”

We stayed 2 nights on our honeymoon at Punta Regina. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the city center (going down is faster), and they have a garage for the car, which was a big advantage for us. We got a huge room with a nice balcony with nice view. There are a few good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is served on the roof top teracce with amazing view. I think this hotel is very good choice for Positano. You can get hotels with better view and more in the center, but here everything was perfect. Sebibaba - Tripadvisor - 06/11/2013

“Perfect location”

This is a wonderful hotel. We had a spectacular room with high ceilings and a drop-dead beautiful large terrace with a panoramic view of the sea, an outdoor bathtub/shower and lushly planted garden. The staff at Punta Regina couldn’t have been more charming and welcoming. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor terrace overlooking the sea, where there is an infinity pool. We might have been more energetic and traveled to Amalfi or other places, but we just enjoyed our hotel too much. Snowflake46 - Tripadvisor - 27/10/2013

“A First Class Stay”

We stayed here for five nights. Reception were always cheerful and very helpful to reserve restaurants and/or excursions if you wanted them to. Breakfasts on the terrace were a pleasure with loads of choices and never ending coffee. Our room was very good spacious and with its own terrace and a jacuzzi on the terrace, a real pleasure after a hard, hot day. The hotel is situated far enough up the hill to enjoy the view but not so far to be difficult to walk from the beach. The two pedestrian options, one of many steps is for the more mobile but the alternative, if slightly longer, provides a leisurely walk up a gently inclined road. You can also catch a local bus that stops outside of the hotel. All in all a very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff Treworder - Tripadvisor - 25/10/2013

Camere pulitissime e arredate in modo molto curato. Beh, una vacanza indimenticabile. Da rifare. caraluigi - Tripadvisor - 29/09/2013
